2009 NACWA Open Golf Tournament Opened in 1994 and designed by Kerry Mattingly and Gregg Kuehn, Fire Ridge is considered one of Wisconsin’s best kept secrets. The par 72, 208-acre course was carved out of rolling hills and features six ponds, as well as some marshy areas, which earned it International Audubon Sanctuary status. Fire Ridge has been selected as one of the qualifying sites for the PGA Tour’s U.S. Bank Championship since 2002. Since its opening, the course has received numerous awards, including a 4-Star rating from Golf Digest Places to Play in 2007.

PrizesNACWA’s 2009 Golf Tournament uses a Calloway format. Prizes will be awarded for: Don’t forget the infamous, yet coveted, Brass Bowl Award...to be earned according to the criteria established by Ken Kirk, NACWA’s Executive Director, during play. Anyone can win this prestigious award, from the highest scoring duffer to the lowest scoring wannabe pro.

DirectionsThe Fire Ridge Golf Course is located approximately 25 minutes from the InterContinental Milwaukee. Detailed directions will be provided at NACWA’s Registration Desk during the Summer Conference.
AttireAppropriate golf attire should be worn on the course. Suggested attire includes collared shirts with Bermuda length shorts or slacks. This is a soft spikes only course, no golf shoes with metal spikes are allowed.
