Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $219 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Marriott at Metro Center for conference attendees.  Reservations must be made by Monday, October 19, 2009 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only, with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

Conference Registration Fees & Information

To register for the 2009 Developments in Clean Water Law Seminar, please complete the registration form and mail or fax it along with your registration fee(s) payable to NACWA.  You may also register online.  Advance registrations must be received by Monday, October 26, 2009.   Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via mail or e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Policy:  A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by NACWA by Friday, October 30th.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied. 

 

Transportation

The Marriott at Metro Center is approximately 15 minutes from Reagan National Airport, however, several Greater Metropolitan Area airports are within 45 minutes - 1 hour of the hotel by car (Dulles International Airport is approx. a 45 minute drive; Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport is an approx. 1 hour drive).

Ground Transportation:
The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
Approximate 1-way fares are $12 from Reagan National, $55 from Dulles, and $65 from BWI.

Super Shuttle:
Available from National, Dulles or BWI – representatives are available at all area airports or by phone at 800.258.3826. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport. Approximate fares from Dulles $29, Reagan National $14, and BWI $37.

Metro (subway):
Metro Center Station (Orange, Blue and Red Lines).  Hotel is 1 block from this station stop- take the 12th and G exit from the station, walk 1 block north on 12th St., and the hotel will be on your left.

Car Rental:
