Join your clean water colleagues March 25 - 27 for the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ (NACWA) National Pretreatment & Pollution Prevention Workshop. Since our last Workshop fifteen months ago, much has happened in the pretreatment and pollution prevention arena. Make your plans today for what is sure to be an informative conference.
Topics that will be discussed include:
How pretreatment programs can develop effective working relationships between industrial users and their, operations and maintenance staff;
The crossover of stormwater issues to pretreatment programs; and
Developments in dental amalgam separators.
In addition to these important topics, the Workshop will also have presentations on:
Actions on antimicrobials, particularly triclosan and nanosilver;
A special case study on source control of emerging pollutants for water reuse; and
In keeping with its historical success, State and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) officials will be in town for their own meeting and will be on hand to participate in the popular Regional Roundtable discussion session.
The National Pretreatment & Pollution Prevention Workshop is the only conference designed especially for pretreatment professionals. Attendees will have opportunities to exchange ideas, as well as to meet with representatives from municipal and state governments, and the EPA.
