Subject: JOIN THE DISCUSSION ON NACWA ENGAGE
Reference: MU 14-04

We are pleased to introduce NACWA Engage™ 2.0. This members-only forum is back, with significant enhancements that will allow you to network, participate and easily communicate with NACWA Member Agencies and Affiliates – and ultimately utilities nationwide. Others outside of the network (e.g. press, non-member private firms, etc…) will not have access to the discussions. Engage™ will provide a collaborative experience for utilities and Affiliates with discussions focusing not only on critical advocacy issues (e.g. nutrients, regulatory prioritization, wet weather issues, etc…) but also information sharing among your peers.

Our team has worked hard to build a number of noticeable improvements into this completely new version of Engage™. Upon your visit to the www.NACWAengage.org website you will find:

  • A fresh design throughout the site and notably improved performance across the platform
  • More intuitive navigation throughout the site
  • An Open Forum community which will allow for discussion threads in that are easy to create, join and follow
  • A NACWA Daily Digest e-mail which will summarize discussions from the past 24 hours on taking place on the Engage™ site
  • A Library to share your knowledge by uploading and viewing files relevant to discussions and interests
  • More robust Profiles that feature your personal LinkedIn™ information and expanded Job History
  • Better control of your Privacy, Profile, and E-mail settings
  • Easier networking—You are automatically linked to Networks (visible in your Profile)
  • A dedicated FAQ (under the Participate tab) to help you get started

You will begin receiving NACWA Daily Digest e-mails Monday, January 27. These Digest e-mails will give you an overview of the information sharing taking place on Engage™ and will allow you to connect directly from the Digest to discussions.

It’s time to Engage!
