NACWA urges its Member agencies to submit a nomination for the 2011 National Environmental Achievement Awards (NEAA).  This distinguished awards program celebrates those extraordinary local, state, and federal elected/appointed officials and pioneering member agencies that continually strive to make a positive impact on the environment, their utility, and their community.  Member utilities may submit nominations in both the individual and agency categories for exceptional advocacy efforts or unique and creative projects that demonstrate a strong commitment to clean and safe waters and a healthy, sustainable environment.

Please note NACWA has changed our Award nomination schedule and the NEAA award call for nominations is earlier than in past years.

Agency honorees will be recognized at NACWA’s 2011 Winter Conference, February 1-4, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  Individual honorees are recognized at the 2011 National Clean Water Policy Forum, May 8-11, 2011 at the Westin Washington DC City Center in Washington, D.C.
