NACWA has composed a set of talking points for its members’ use at the upcoming U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) listening sessions on several sanitary sewer collection system issues, including sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs), system operation and maintenance, and peak excess flow “blending”. Members are encouraged to incorporate the talking points into any remarks they intend to provide at the sessions. A member of NACWA’s staff will be attending each listening session and NACWA will provide its perspective at the July 13 session in Washington, D.C. The Association encourages its members to actively participate in the sessions and to register as an attendee or speaker as quickly as possible to ensure you have a spot. Session dates are as follows:
