NACWA Encourages You To Make Plans to Meet with Your Congressional Delegation!

On  April 18th, NACWA members will travel to the Nation’s Capitol for the 2010 National Environmental Poilcy Forum to hear about trends in clean water policy that impact publicly-owned treatment works.  To ensure that our national leaders take into account NACWA member perspectives and concerns when crafting clean water legislation, we have set aside the afternoon of Tuesday, April 20 from 2:30 to 4:30pm for you to visit with your congressional delegations. To take advantage of this opportunity, NACWA urges Policy Forum attendees begin scheduling meetings with your congressional delegations for your visit to Washington, D.C..

With the federal government’s increasing focus on water quality issues such as watershed approaches, nutrient control, climate change, enforcement and federal funding - now is the time to come to Washington D.C. to address the concerns of your community regarding the future of clean water policy.
