2010 National Pretreatment and Pollution Prevention Workshop

Hotel & Registration Information

 

Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $139 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix Hotel for conference attendees. Reservations must be made by Friday, April 23, 2010 to receive the special rate. After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only, with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Hyatt Regency Phoenix using the group registration link, or directly at 602.252.1234. Be sure to identify yourself as a 2010 National Pretreatment and Pollution Prevention Workshop attendee.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out is 12:00 pm. Baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the hotel. Conference Registration Fees & Information

To register for the 2010 National Pretreatment and Pollution Prevention Workshop, please complete the online registration at NACWA’s website. You may also register via mail or fax by downloading the Registration Form icon-pdf and mailing your registration fee(s) to NACWA.

A discounted registration rate is available to public utilities that bring multiple employees to the 2010 National Pretreatment and Pollution Prevention Workshop. Registrants should submit their registration forms together to receive the discount via paper format. Simply fill out a Registration Form icon-pdf for each person attending and either fax or mail the forms to NACWA.

Advance registrations must be received by Thursday, May 6, 2010. Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but may not be included in the Conference Participants List.


Cancellation Policy:
A full refund will be made if the cancellation is received by NACWA by May 6th. Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

 

Transportation

The Hyatt Regency Phoenix is approximately 12 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however there are several transportation alternatives to choose from:

Taxi:
The fare from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Phoenix Hotel is approximately $18.

 

Super Shuttle:
Representatives are available at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport or by phone at 602.244.9000. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport. The fare from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Phoenix is approximately $13 each way per passenger.

 

Valley Metro (Light Rail):
Upon arrival to the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, proceed to Ground Transportation. Board the PHX Airport Shuttle to Metro Light Rail Line. Board the Metro Light Rail train toward Montebello, and exit at the Central/Washington Station. Walk one block east, and you will see the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. The Metro Light Rail trains run from 4:00 AM – 11:00 PM daily and the ticket price from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Phoenix is $1.75.

 

Car Rental:
NACWA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for the 2010 National Pretreatment and Pollution Prevention Workshop. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

 

Hotel Parking:
The Hyatt Regency Phoenix has on-site valet parking available at $24.00 per day with in and out privileges. The neighboring self-parking garage, the Regency, costs $12 per day, but does not include in and out privileges. If you would like in and out privileges, the fee will be $18 per day.
