The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has prepared a $163,691,000 list of sanitary sewer projects that could become part of a federal economic stimulus program.

The list consists of projects with a total cost $150,081,000 that are ready for bids. The district also seeks $13.61 million to help pay for projects already underway.

The district has sent the list to U.S. representatives from the St. Louis area and to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, an organization of public sewer systems that is seeking $10 billion in grants for sanitary sewer projects in an economic stimulus package.

Here is the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District's list. It includes the district's name of the project, its general location and the amount of money the district seeks.
