The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $185 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Hotel Monaco Alexandria. Reservations must be made by Monday, October 31, 2016 to receive the special rate. After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the discounted rate will apply.

You may register for the 2016 Fall Strategic Leadership Retreat & Board of Directors Meeting by completing the online registration at your convenience.
Advance registrations must be received by Monday, October 24, 2016. Advance registrants will receive confirmation via E-Mail. Registrations will be accepted after the deadline although the attendee may not appear in the Participant List. Attire
We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.
Bringing a Family Member?
Do you have spouse or family member joining you in Alexandria? Be sure to register them so that they can join you at the NACWA Social Event. Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.
General Waiver & Release
By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.
Consent to Use Image
Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.
Ground Transportation
The Hotel Monaco Alexandria is approximately four miles from Reagan National Airport (DCA) and 33 miles from Dulles International Airport (IAD). The hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle from DCA as well however, there are several transportation alternatives:
Hotel Shuttle
The complimentary shuttle service is daily from 7:00 AM – 10:30 PM. Once luggage is collected, please contact the hotel at (703) 549-6080 and the hotel will give you directions to the pick-up area. The shuttle will arrive to the hotel every hour on the half hour. If you need the shuttle to the airport, please make arrangements at the luggage desk 24 hours prior to your departure.
Uber
The fare from DCA to the hotel is approximately $15 and is 12 minutes away and the fare from IAD to the hotel is approximately $55 and will take 45 minutes.
Taxi Cab
The fare from DCA to the hotel is approximately $23 and is 12 minutes away and the fare from IAD to the hotel is approximately $80 and will take 45 minutes.
Super Shuttle
Available from DCA or IAD – representatives are available at all area airports or by phone at 800.258.3826. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport.
Metro
Blue/Yellow line train (direction – Franconia Springfield/Huntington) from DCA to the Braddock Station. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from there.
Car Rental

Hotel Parking
The Hotel Monaco Alexandria offers valet and self-parking that are both available at $29/day plus taxes. Please note that parking does include ‘in and out’ privileges.
