There are no more discounted rooms available at the Omni Providence Hotel.  We have secured additional rooms at The Downtown Providence Courtyard by Marriott, which is located 2 blocks away from the Omni Providence.  This hotel is offering the same discounted room rate of $179 per night (single/double) plus applicable taxes for NACWA Attendees.  Reservations must be made by Tuesday, July 7th, while rooms are available, to receive the discounted rate.  To ensure a hotel room, contact The Courtyard at 888.887.7955 or make your reservation online and be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA Attendee.

Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $179 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Omni Providence.  Reservations must be made by Wednesday, June 24, 2015 to receive the special rate, based on availability.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply. 

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Omni Providence in Providence, RI at 800.THE.OMNI (800.843.6664).  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee.  Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.  

 

Registration Fees & Information

You may register for the 2015 Utility Leadership Conference in three easy ways:

  • Online: complete the online registration to register at your convenience.
  • Mail/Fax: download and complete the registration form and send it with payment to NACWA.

Advance registrations must be received by Monday, June 29, 2015.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Full conference registration fee includes access to all activities Sunday through Wednesday, including but not limited to: committee meetings; general sessions; and, evening social events including transportation (if not within walking distance of the meeting hotel).  Meals included are:  breakfasts during meetings on Monday and Tuesday; a formal dinner on Monday, as well as light food and beverage at the Sunday and Tuesday evening receptions.  There will also be morning and afternoon beverage service Monday through Wednesday morning.

 

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by June 29, 2015.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  Submit all requests via e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.

 

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.  We do request business attire on Monday and Tuesday evening.

 

General Waiver & Release

By registering for this National Association of Clean Water Agency (NACWA) sponsored meeting/conference, each registrant acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with participation in the meeting and any associated on and off-site events/activities/tours (collectively “associated events”). Each registrant agrees, on behalf of him/herself, heirs and assigns, to waive and release, NACWA, its employees, directors, officers, volunteers, agents, successors, licensees, assigns, vendors, and sponsors (collectively “NACWA”) from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising from participation in this meeting and any associated events whether or not such damage, injury or loss may occur on the premises of the meeting, at off-site venues, in participating hotels or on event ground transportation.

 

Consent to Use Image

Registrant grants full permission to NACWA to take any and all photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record (collectively “images”) of registrant in connection with this event and to copyright, use and publish the same in audio, photographic or video format for any lawful purpose. Registrant agrees that NACWA is not responsible for unauthorized use of the images. Registrant further acknowledges that he/she is not entitled to compensation and that the images may appear with or without the registrant’s name.

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in Providence?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

 

Ground Transportation

The Omni Providence is approximately 10 miles from the T. F. Green Airportexternal.link (PVD) and approximately 60 miles from Boston Logan International Airportexternal.link (BOS).  The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:
The fare from the PVD to the hotel is approximately $30 and is 15 minutes away, and from BOS it is approximately $100 and 1 hour away.

Super Shuttle:
Available from both airports – representatives are available at all area airports or by phone at 800.258.3826.  Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttleexternal.link to arrange for return transport to the airport.

Car Rental:

Hotel Parking:  The hotel offers valet parking that is available at $28/day with ‘in and out’ privileges.  Self-parking is next door at the Rhode Island Convention Center Garage, rates may vary.
