Hotel Accommodations & Rates

We have secured a special group rate of $289 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Westin Washington DC City Center Hotel. Reservations must be made by Monday, March 23, 2015 to receive the special rate. After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Westin Washington DC City Center at 202.429.1700. Be sure to identify yourself as a Water Policy attendee. You may also make your reservation online at the Westin Washington DC City Center website. Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience. Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Advance registrations must be received by Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail. Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participant List. Your registration fee includes access to all activities Monday through Wednesday, including but not limited to: briefings; roundtables; and, evening receptions. Meals included are: breakfasts during meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday; as well as food and beverage at the Monday and Tuesday evening events; and, morning and afternoon beverage service Monday through Wednesday based on programming.

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference and onsite.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

Consent to Use Image

Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored/co-hosted meeting constitutes an agreement by the registrant/participant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s/participant’s likeness. Attendees have agreed to allow their names, likenesses and images either in audio, photographic or video format, as well as social media messages in the public domain (e.g., tweets using hashtag) to be used by NACWA. NACWA is not responsible for the social media posts of any attendee and disclaims any liability for such posts.

Continuing Education Credits

Bringing A Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in Washington DC?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

Ground Transportation

The Westin Washington DC City Center is approximately five miles from Reagan National Airport (DCA), 28 miles from Dulles International Airport (IAD) and 33 miles from the Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).  The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:  
The fare from Reagan National to the hotel is approximately $20 and is 20 minutes away.  The fare from Dulles to the hotel is approximately $65 and will take 45 minutes and the fare from the BWI is approximately $75 and will take one hour. 

Super Shuttle:   
Available from Reagan National, Dulles or BWI – representatives are available at all area airports or by phone at 800.258.3826.  Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport. 

Metro (Subway):  
Blue line train (direction – Largo Town Center/Addison Road) from DCA to the McPherson Square Station. Exit and walk north on 14th St., N.W. for 3 blocks. Then walk straight on Thomas Circle NW and turn left on M St. NW. The hotel will be on your right.  

Car Rental:

Hotel Parking: 
The Westin Washington DC City Center offers valet parking that is available at $47/day inclusive of taxes. Please note that parking does include ‘in and out’ privileges.
