Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $179 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Loews Don CeSar Hotel.  Reservations must be made by Monday, October 27, 2014 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the discounted rate will apply.

Registration Information

You may register for the 2014 National Clean Water Law Seminar in three simple ways:

Advance registrations must be received by Tuesday, November 4, 2014.  Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via E-Mail.  Registrations will be accepted after the deadline although the attendee may not appear in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Full seminar registration fees include access to all sessions Wednesday through Friday and evening receptions on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Registered attendees will also receive access to all available session handouts, speaker biographies, as well as one a participants list.  Meals included are:  continental breakfast every morning – Wednesday through Friday; a plated lunch on Wednesday, reception food and beverage at the Wednesday and Thursday evening events and morning and afternoon beverages Wednesday through Friday.

 

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by November 5, 2013.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  Submit all requests via e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the seminar and onsite.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. 

 

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

 

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s 2014 National Clean Water Law Seminar and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk and drop off your business card or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it after the seminar and we will make sure you have a letter certifying your attendance.

If you are interested in Continuing Legal Education Credits specifically, please visit the CLE Page and be sure to sign-in on the daily attendance sheet.  CLE forms will be made available on Friday, the final day of the Seminar.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk to pick up your CLE letter.

 

Bringing a Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in St. Pete Beach?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA reception.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

 

Consent to Use Image

Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant/participant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s/participant’s likeness.  Attendees have agreed to allow their names, likenesses and images either in audio, photographic or video format, as well as social media messages in the public domain (e.g., tweets using hashtag) to be used by NACWA.  NACWA is not responsible for the social media posts of any attendee and disclaims any liability for such posts.

 

Ground Transportation

The Loews Don CeSar Hotel is approximately 19 miles from the St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport external.link (PIE) and 28 miles from the Tampa International Airport external.link (TPA).   The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:
The fare from PIE to the hotel is approximately $45 and will take 25 minutes.  From TPA to the hotel, the fare is approximately $75 and will take 30 minutes.  You may find one of several taxi companies just outside baggage claim at the airport.

Super Shuttle:
Available only at TPA – guests make reservations online, at airport baggage claim, or by calling 800.258.3826.  Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle external.link to arrange for return transport to the airport and is approximately $25 one way.

Car Rental:
NACWA selected Avis Rent-A-Car external.link as the official car rental company for this meeting.  Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The hotel has on-site overnight valet parking available at $23 per night with ‘in and out’ privileges.  Self-parking is also available at $10 per night with ‘in and out’ privileges.
