Audit Committee

The Role of the Audit Committee is to review the association's annual audit report and report its findings and recommendations to the Board.

Awards Committee

The role of the Awards Committee is to review and recommend appropriate revisions to the categories and criteria of NACWA's Awards program; oversee the solicitation of nominees in all award categories; and make selection of award recipients annually.

Executive Committee

The role of the Executive Committee is to provide a quick response to time sensitive issues that arise between Board meetings; to review, with the Executive Director, job descriptions, wage ranges, and individual salary increases on an as needed basis and make subsequent recommendations to the Board; and, to annually review and negotiate the Executive Director's contract, and subsequently report contract recommendations to the Board.

Nominating (Directors) Committee

The role of the Nominating Committee (Directors) is to oversee solicitation of regional nominations for new or vacant Board seats; evaluate the qualifications of nominated candidates; and subsequently nominate member agency representatives for appointment or election to the Board.

Nominating (Officers) Committee

The role of Nominating Committee (Officers) is to recommend, annually, at least one nominee for each officer's position in accordance with NACWA's Bylaws and the Policy and Procedures of NACWA's Board of Directors.
