Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $209 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel.  Reservations must be made by Tuesday, April 15, 2014 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the Conference rates will apply.

Registration Fees & Information

You may register for the 2014 Wet Weather Consent Decree Handbook Workshop in three simple ways:

  • Online: complete the online registration (Closed) to register at your convenience.
  • Mail: download and complete the registration form  pdf button and send your registration with payment to NACWA.
  • Fax: download and complete the registration form  pdf button and fax it to 888.267.9505.

Advance registrations must be received by Wednesday, April 16, 2014.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participants List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Workshop registration fee includes access to all sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and the evening reception on Wednesday.  Registered attendees will also receive access to all session handouts, speaker biographies, as well as the Participant List.  The Meal included is:  lunch on Wednesday; as well as light food and beverage at the Wednesday evening event; and, morning and afternoon beverage service throughout the Workshop.

 

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by April 16, 2014.  Submit all requests via e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Consent to Use Image

Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant/participant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant’s/participant’s likeness.  Attendees have agreed to allow their names, likenesses and images either in audio, photographic or video format, as well as social media messages in the public domain (e.g., tweets using hashtag) to be used by NACWA.  NACWA is not responsible for the social media posts of any attendee and disclaims any liability for such posts. 

 

Continuing Education Credits

Attire

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms tend to be chilly.

 

Ground Transportation

The Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel is approximately 18 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), and 12 miles from the Chicago Midway Airport (MDW).  The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Chicago Transit Authority:
The CTA Blue Line runs from ORD and stops at Lake/Clark.  The fare is $2.50, and takes about 40 minutes.  The hotel is 2 blocks away from this stop.  The Orange Line runs from MDW and stops at State/Lake, which will leave you directly across the back of the hotel.    

Taxi Cab:     
The fare from ORD to the hotel is approximately $40 one way and is 30 minutes away.  The fare from MDW to the hotel is approximately $35 one way and is 20 minutes away.  

Go Airport  Express:        
Available from ORD or MDW – guests must make reservations over the phone at 888.284.3826 or online with Go Airport Express.  Note that the fare is approximately $28 and $23 one way, respectively, from both airports to the hotel.

Car Rental:

Hotel Parking:    
The hotel offers valet parking at $65 per night which includes ‘in and out’ privileges.  The hotel also offers off-site parking for $41 per day.
