NACWA will convene an Association Business Meeting at the 2014 Winter Conference, Compliance, Collaboration & Cost . . . Critical Drivers for Clean, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. At the Business Meeting, the membership will vote on a series of amendments to the Association’s Bylaws.

Over the past six months, NACWA’s leadership has been engaged in a review of the Association’s governance documents to ensure that the Association is well-positioned for the future. This process has resulted in a series of amendments to the Bylaws included with this Member Update in Attachment A.

NACWA’s Board of Directors voted recently to recommend membership approval of the proposed amendments to the Association’s Bylaws. The membership will vote on these amendments during an Association Business Meeting at 11:50 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2014 in the Lumpkins Ballroom of La Fonda on the Plaza.

Also included as Attachment B is a Member Proxy. Member Agencies unable to attend the Business Meeting are urged to complete the proxy form and fax it to the National Office (202-833-3743) by close of business on Friday, January 31, 2014.
