Hotel Accommodations & Rates

We have secured a special group rate of $299 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Capital Hilton.  Reservations must be made by Thursday, March 20, 2014 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.  

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC at 202.393.1000.  Be sure to identify yourself as a Water Policy attendee.  You may also make your reservation online at the Capital Hilton websiteNote: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

 

Registration Fees

You may register for the 2014 National Water Policy Forum & Fly-In in three easy ways:

  • Online: complete the online registration (closed) to register at your convenience.
  • Mail: download and complete the registration form icon-pdf and send your registration with payment to NACWA.
  • Fax: download and complete the registration form icon-pdf and fax it to 888.267.9505.


Advance registrations must be received by Wednesday, March 19, 2014.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the Participant List.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Your registration fee includes access to all activities Sunday through Wednesday, including but not limited to: briefings; roundtables; and, evening receptions including transportation (if not within walking distance of the meeting hotel).  Meals included are:  breakfasts during meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday; lunch for members on Tuesday; as well as food and beverage at the Monday and Tuesday evening events; and, morning and afternoon beverage service Monday through Wednesday morning.

 

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference and onsite.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.

 

Consent to Use Image

Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant/participant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant's/participant's image in photographs, videotapes, promotional materials as well as reproductions of such events and activities.

 

Continuing Education Credits

Bringing A Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in Washington DC?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

 

Ground Transportation

The Washington Marriott is approximately five miles from Reagan National Airport (DCA), 25 miles from Dulles International Airport (IAD) and 40 miles from the Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).  The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:  
The fare from Reagan National to the hotel is approximately $20 and is 20 minutes away.  The fare from Dulles to the hotel is approximately $55 and will take 45 minutes and the fare from the BWI is approximately $85 and will take one hour. 

Super Shuttle:   
Available from Reagan National, Dulles or BWI – representatives are available at all area airports or by phone at 800.258.3826.  Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport. 

Metro (Subway):  
Blue line train (direction – Largo Town Center/Addison Road) from DCA to the Farragut West Station.  Exit and walk north on 17th St., N.W. for1 block.  Then take a right on K St., N.W. and continue for two blocks.  Turn left on 16th St., N.W. and the hotel will be on your right.  

Car Rental:

Hotel Parking: 
The Capital Hilton offers valet parking that is available at $47.20/day inclusive of taxes.  Please note that parking does include ‘in and out’ privileges.
