Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The registration deadline at the Hyatt Regency Miami has passed. Because of the overwhelming interest in this program – we have secured an additional block of rooms at the Courtyard Miami Downtown, a short walk from the Hyatt at the same $229 rate. To make your reservations contact the Courtyard Miami Downtown at 800.228.9290 or via online reservations external.link. Be sure to mention you are attending the NACWA 2013 Winter Conference. Reservations will be accepted until January 23.

 

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $229 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Hyatt Regency Miami.  Reservations must be made by Sunday, January 13, 2013 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the Conference rates will apply.

Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

 

Registration Fees

You may register for the 2013 Winter Conference in three easy ways:


Advance registrations must be received by Wednesday, January 23, 2013.  Advance registrants will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but attendees will not be listed in the participants list.  If you have not received a confirmation within 10 business days after registering, please contact NACWA at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Your registration fee includes access to all activities Sunday through Wednesday, including but not limited to: committee meetings; general sessions; and, evening receptions including transportation (if not within walking distance of the meeting hotel).  Meals included are:  breakfasts during Committee meetings on Monday and Tuesday; lunch during the Finance & Strategic Planning Committee meeting on Sunday and Facility & Collection System Committee Meeting on Monday; as well as food and beverage at the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening events; and, morning and afternoon beverage service Sunday through Wednesday morning.

 

Cancellation/Substitution Policy

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.  A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by January 23, 2013.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.  Submit all requests via e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Substitution of registrations is permitted prior to the conference and onsite.  Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.

 

Consent to Use Image

Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image in photographs, videotapes, promotional materials as well as reproductions of such events and activities.

 

Continuing Education Credits

Attend NACWA’s Winter Conference and you can earn credits toward your certification or recertification.  Simply stop by the NACWA registration desk at the conference and leave your business card or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Bringing A Family Member?

Do you have spouse, family member joining you in Miami?  Be sure to register them so that they can join you at NACWA receptions and in the spouse lounge.  Please Note: Complimentary guest registration is intended solely for spouses/domestic partners or members of a registrant’s immediate family and cannot be used to register professional colleagues.

 

Ground Transportation

The Hyatt Regency Miami is approximately 8 miles from the Miami International Airport (MIA) external.link.   The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:
The fare from MIA to the Hyatt Regency Miami is approximately $25 and will take 15 minutes. You may find one of several taxi companies just outside baggage claim at the airport.

American Transportation:
Available from MIA – guests make reservations online, at airport baggage claim, or by calling 305.871.1000.  Note that the fare is $16 per person one way, or $30.50 for a roundtrip.

Car Rental:
NACWA selected Avis Rent-A-Car external.link as the official car rental company for this meeting.  Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Hyatt Regency Miami offers valet parking at $31 per night which includes ‘in and out’ privileges.  The hotel also offers hourly rates ranging from $14 for 0-2 hours, $17 for 2-3 hours, $20 for 3 – 4 hours, $23 for 4-5 hours, and $31 for more than 5 hours.
