Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $199 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza .  Reservations must be made by the extended deadline, Friday, January 27, 2012, in order to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the Conference rates will apply.  To ensure a hotel room, contact the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza .  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee.

Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Registration Fees & Information

To register for the 2012 Winter Conference, please complete the online registration form.  You may also register via mail or fax by downloading the registration form and mailing your registration fee(s) to NACWA.

Advance registrations must be received by Tuesday, January 31, 2012.  Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but not included on the meeting’s printed participant list.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by January 31, 2012.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Please Note: Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image in photographs, videotapes, promotional materials as well as reproductions of such events and activities.

Ground Transportation

The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza is approximately eighteen miles from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and fifteen miles from the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport (BUR) . The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Taxi Cab:
The fare from the Los Angeles International Airport to the Omni Los Angeles Hotel is approximately $46 and will take 30 minutes. The fare from the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport to the hotel is approximately $50 and will take 30 minutes.

Super Shuttle:
Representatives are available at both airports or by phone at 800.258.3826. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport. The one-way fare from the Los Angeles International Airport to the hotel is $17 and from the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport to the hotel, the fare is $24.

Car Rental:
NACWA has selected Avis Rent-A-Car as the official car rental company for this meeting. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is  D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza has on-site overnight valet parking available at $40 per day with ‘in and out’ privileges. The hotel also offers a complimentary sedan service to locations within a 3 mile radius of the hotel.
