Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $189 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Westin Chicago River NorthReservations must be made by Monday, June 27, 2011 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release the unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a space available basis only with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

To ensure a hotel room, contact the Westin Chicago River North.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee.

Note: Check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 12:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

 

Registration Fees & Information

To register for the 2011 Summer Conference & 41st Annual Meeting, please complete the online registration form. You may also register via mail or fax by downloading the registration form icon-pdf from the website and mailing your registration fee(s) to NACWA.

Advance registrations must be received by Tuesday, July 5, 2011.  Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via e-mail.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be made if NACWA receives the cancellation by July 5, 2011.  Thereafter, a $300 cancellation fee will be applied.

Please Note: Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image in photographs, videotapes, promotional materials as well as reproductions of such events and activities.

 

Ground Transportation

The Westin Chicago River North is approximately 18 miles from the Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), and 9 miles from the Chicago Midway Airport (MDW).  The hotel does not offer a complimentary shuttle from the airport; however, there are several transportation alternatives:

Chicago Transit Authority:
The CTA Blue Line runs from ORD and stops at Lake/Clark. The fare is $2.25, and takes about 40 minutes. From there, you can take a $5.00 taxi to the hotel.  The Yellow Line runs from MDW and stops at State/Lake.  This will take about 15 minutes and is within walking distance to the hotel.

Taxi Cab:
The fare from ORD to the hotel is approximately $35-40 one way and is 30 minutes away.  The fare from MDW to the hotel is approximately $25 -30 one way and is 20 minutes away.

Go Airport Express:
Available from ORD or MDW – guests must make reservations over the phone at 888.284.3826 or online with Go Airport Express. Note that the fare is approximately $25 and $20 one way, respectively, from both airports to the hotel.

Car Rental:
Avis Rent-A-Car is NACWA’s official car rental company for this meeting. Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Westin Chicago River North offers valet parking at $52 per night which includes ‘in and out’ privileges. The hotel also offers hourly rates ranging from $27 for under 2 hours, $30 for 2 – 6 hours and $33 for 6 – 12 hours.
