Hotel Accommodations & Rates

The National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has secured a special group rate of $264 per night (single/double), plus applicable taxes, at the Fairmont Washington, D.C. Reservations (click here) must be made by Monday, February 14, 2011 to receive the special rate.  After this date, NACWA must release unreserved rooms, and reservations will be accepted on a availability basis only with no guarantee that the summit rates will apply.  To ensure a hotel room, contact the Fairmont Washington, D.C.  Be sure to identify yourself as a NACWA attendee. 

Note: Check-in time is 4:00 pm; check-out time is 1:00 pm; baggage storage is available for your convenience.  Any requests for late check-out should be directed to the Hotel.

Registration Information

To register for the 2011 Money Matters Summit & Fly-In, please complete the registration form.  You may also register via mail or fax by downloading the registration form and mailing the form to NACWA.  Please note that this Summit is complimentary for Public Agency members and at a fee for Affiliates; however we do request you register in advance due to limited capacity.

Advance registrations must be received by Friday, February 18, 2011.  Advance registrants will receive written confirmation via e-mail and be included in the Summit participant list.  Faxed and online registrations will be accepted after the deadline but will not be confirmed in writing.

Please Note: Registration and/or participation in any NACWA sponsored meetings constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the National Association of Clean Water Agencies’ use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the attendee’s image in photographs, videotapes, promotional materials as well as reproductions of such events and activities.

Ground Transportation

The Fairmont Washington, D.C. is approximately 15 minutes from Reagan National (DCA) Airport, 30 minutes from Dulles International (IAD) Airport and 55 minutes from Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport.

Taxi Cab:
Approximate one-way fares are $15 from Reagan National, $60 from Dulles, and $75 from BWI.

Super Shuttle:
Representatives are available at all three airports or by phone at 800.258.3826. Note that the guests must make their own reservations with Super Shuttle to arrange for return transport to the airport.

Metro (Subway):
Blue line train (direction – Largo Town Center/Addison Road) from Reagan National to Foggy Bottom Station.  Exit and walk north 1 block to Washington Circle. Walk left along the circle and turn left on Pennsylvania Ave. Take a right onto 24th St. and walk 2 blocks until you see the Hotel.

Car Rental:
Avis Rent-A-Car is NACWA’s official car rental company for this meeting.  Discounts are available by calling Avis directly at 800.331.1600. Our Avis Worldwide Discount Number is D003081.

Hotel Parking:
The Hotel’s overnight valet parking is $40 per day.  Otherwise, it is $12 for 1 hour, $18 for 2 hours, $24 for 3 hours, and $30 for 3-10 hours.  Please not that all parking charges include ‘in and out’ privileges and the Hotel does not offer self-parking.
