Farmer-Utility Partnerships

ACWA’s President Obama signed the Agricultural Act
of 2014, commonly referred to as the Farm Bill, into law
on February 6, marking the end of a three year process
to reauthorize the legislation. The final bill maintained
water quality and agricultural nutrient management provisions that
NACWA, along with the

port partnerships between farmers and non-farming entities to tackle
various conservation and environmental issues on a regional scale.
