2010 Winter Conference
Transcending Tradition…
The Expanding Roles & Relationships
of the Clean Water Utility

February 2 - 5, 2010, Four Seasons Hotel, Austin, Texas

Historic lines between wastewater, drinking water, stormwater, and water reuse are slowly being erased as an increasing number of clean water agencies are taking on new responsibilities. As communities recognize that local water planning must be done holistically, looking at water supply, wastewater collection and treatment, land use practices and other issues together, rather than as independent needs overseen by different governmental entities, clean water agencies are playing increasingly critical roles.

Join us in Austin as we focus on the expanding boundaries of utility management. Speakers will examine some of the drivers for change and how utility managers, already handling a full array of issues, have and will continue to adapt. In addition, the conference will be keynoted by best-selling author Chip Heath. Heath’s remarks will focus on his new book SWITCH: How to Change Things When Change is Hard, slated for release the week after NACWA’s Winter Conference.

Multiple Utility Employees Attending? Let Us Help!

We understand that this is a difficult time for many of our members to send several representatives to our Winter Conference. To that end, we are offering a discounted registration rate for public utilities that send multiple employees. Registrants wishing to take advantage of this offer must submit a paper registration form icon-pdf and submit their registration forms together. Simply fill out the forms for everyone attending and either fax or mail the forms to NACWA.

If you attend only one utility management conference this year – make it this one.
