Join your colleagues in Washington, D.C., for the 2009 National Clean Water Policy Forum, where the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) will provide an exceptional opportunity to access the latest federal legislative, regulatory, and legal developments and leaders in the Nation’s capital.

This is the time to come to D.C. and raise your community’s and the nation’s concerns regarding the future of clean water policy.   A few short weeks ago, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (the stimulus package) putting billions of new dollars into the clean and safe water programs.  How this new program will be implemented will be a prominent focus at the Forum.

Other legislative and regulatory issues range from Clean Water Act jurisdiction, sewer overflow right-to-know, nutrient control, emerging contaminants, chemical security, and, perhaps the most impactful issue that is poised to be addressed by this Congress and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) — climate change.

The Policy Forum will spotlight new clean water policy leaders in the Obama Administration and the 111th Congress.  Also,  we will once again host the popular Roundtable Breakfast,  featuring with breakout sessions with the EPA staff leads on priority clean water issues.

For the first time at the Policy Forum a discounted registration rate is available to public utilities who send multiple employees. Registrants should submit their registration forms together to receive the discount. Simply fill out the Registration Forms for everyone attending and either fax or mail the form to NACWA.
